Everyone wants the truth
It dawned on me recently as I walked along the beach. What is it with people and why are they chasing 'things' like these things will bring them to the truth? A new object will make you happy for a moment, like a car, a dress, anything...but the feeling of happiness is so fleeting. I think it's because these things don't bring us to a closer relationship with what our purpose is in life. What are we looking for and what is our truth?
The truth is different for everyone, but it's never been easier to look for it. We have an information highway going all directions, right at our fingertips. The internet. Anything in the world and beyond we can research and discover everything all people know about all subjects. This is an amazing fortunate era we live in. We should be able to solve major problems in the world....but I think the problem may be ....information overload. The normal brain can only cope with so much info, depending on the person, and then we zone out.
When I was a little child, I had a fantasy. I thought the fantasy was so incredible, I couldn't imagine how it would come true - but it did.
I thought "what if I'm walking outside and right now, right here I can see what someone is doing and thinking? What if I could communicate and see that person right now with some kind of a device - a device I can hold?"
Well, guess what - we have handheld devices and they enable us to see what someone is doing, via the world wide web. Do you realize how fantastic this is??!! It's like when I was a little kid, I imagined our all seeing God of the Universe to be!
But...it's maybe too much info? We get distracted, diverted, away from our purpose in life, which is to discover our Truth, our own personal truth. It's out there...for all of us.
Closer and closer we come to a realization - we're all in this together. How are we going to solve Earth's problems? We want to advance, find answers, look for people to help us. I'm trying to help through

Sweet dreams of love
You don't believe in science and nature working as one to create supernature? For goddesses' sake! You don't believe in the full moon power tonight, or stars infinite? You don't believe in magic? I do! Time is running...if there is such a thing as time, which there isn't, really it's a human invention to calculate movement. Oh, there's so much more I want to learn and share, love is all.

Conjuring Lady Fortuna
Tonight I've decided to call on powers of supernature in a gesture to help all who read this. I want to show you something so you'll believe in your own power to create big changes in life. You may say I'm casting a spell.

Toil and trouble
All who read this
Fortunes double
In the spirit of generosity in this festive season I will confide in you. If you read my book, you'll see a new way and your fortune will improve immediately if you use themes and methods of Merleena, her mother Jasmine, Owen the Sorcerer, his father Adrian...and some other characters. But you have to read and rate my book at Swoonreads to do this. Seriously, I want to empower you because I can't stand what's going on with a lot of the publishing industry right now. Too many fakes. Too many people writing horrible stories for shock value and profit. Too much effin' crap! I want to help you. Why? Because I care about you, the future, your love, your life, this world. Love is all.
The spell is cast, the deed is done. Star Water - Book One - Sweet Sorcerer. Go there, read, and watch Lady Fortuna begin to shower her gifts upon you. There's Santa and then there's "Fortune" and there's a difference. After you read Sweet Sorcerer, rate it, comment and watch your good future start to happen. But do it soon...time is running out and the book will not be up at the site much longer!
Yes, I know what I'm talking about. Believe and you shall see. Go now, don't hesitate. One word

Tis the season to act ...
Hi, the festive countdown is upon many of us depending on personal beliefs and religions. Tis the season to act...you fill in the blanks. How are we going to act in the months ahead? There is a real countdown, and not just the 12 days of Christmas.
We all want to have fun and enjoy life, right? We want to explore, learn, and experience new trends, beautiful music, beautiful people and lovely nature. Why can't we put a basic childhood equation in balance, that is 2 - 2 = 0 ?
What I'm trying to say is we have animal life including humans (1) and all nature (1). If we destroy nature at this unprecedented rate, we destroy ourselves, hence 2 - 2 = 0. Yet everywhere we turn, massive consumption, depleting the Earth beyond repair, is the "normal" way of life and somehow we believe, with no basis in logic or evidence around us, that we can just continue on this path and somehow everything will be okay in the end, like in a fairy tale or popular movie.
The book I've written, Sweet Sorcerer, deals with young adults on a new path of reality, a new way of looking at things, to understand nature and supernature. I've not written this book to make money, or be famous. This book is my way of trying, through new ideas, to help slow the mass destruction.
All over the net, at Goodreads, other websites, some authors have written books to shock people with unrealistic, sometimes horrible stories lacking understanding, showing no kindness to the reader. The stories are an old-fashioned money grab and they say they have a "message". The message I get is "I have nothing new to say so I'll take old shock lit one step beyond the last crap and I want the money." These stories have no future.
Tis the season to act....responsibly, stupid, greedy, generous, wise, openminded, closeminded, hopeful, hopeless...Fill in the blanks as you wish. With every day passing, we leave a legacy to those who follow - the children, our beautiful Mother Nature - what will this legacy be if we don't wise up soon?
The Power Of One. Realize it's all up to you - no one else. Peace bros & sistas. I find beauty, wherever I can...boy bands, ocean waves, lovely healthy nature with beautiful animals and their purity.
Sweet Sorcerer - my guide, my mantra. My moods change with the ocean tides as I feel your magic, your need for expression, as I follow supernature.

Boy bands
I'm a sucker for musicians...whoa, don't take that too literally, lol! I adore boys in bands, especially those with slender bodies, thick, wavy longish hair and angel faces. Would I call myself a groupie? No...more like in the retro movie "Almost Famous" made several years ago (recently I happened to buy at the local dvd store, the only totally dvd store left in town), I would be like the girls in that movie, a band-aid. Heh!
I hung with other girls who shared my passion and we went where the band was playing...mainly in our town. We couldn't follow boy bands from city to city - we were too young and besides, too much class to consider ourselves "followers" and absolutely never wanted to be even remotely close to the dreaded stalker category!! We were, and still are at heart, party girls who love boys in bands.
Did we get to know some of our idols? Yes. How, you ask? Not what you think. The method is mainly to hang out, knowing where they will be after the show...before the show is not good - (guideline # 1) for various reasons, mainly the boys have a gig to do, almost all boy bands are not, I repeat not wanting to be distracted by girls right before they go onstage. They are artists, after all and you have to understand and respect that fact. Beep...disqualified if you bother them at the wrong time!!
Next, you have to be fun and upbeat when you see them after the show, when the pressure is off... and you have to try to look good, the best you can be, no excuses! You should have an original look, something that will stand out...don't just follow the crowd of current fashions and look like a clone, you won't be memorable.
And most of all, you have to appeal to the imagination, to be an alluring goddess, which brings me back to my book and why I want young women to see my story! More to follow...but do yourselves a favor for the holiday...no joke, check Sweet Sorcerer. This is not a sales pitch! I don't care about social norms in advertising!
I'm sincerely telling a story of love between a girl, a boy in a band who is supernatural, and another boy...and friends...and others. Sweet Sorcerer is a new direction, an eye opener and you will see why! I'll tell you more next blog. In the meantime go to Swoonreads and rate Sweet Sorcerer so we can be goddesses together! Thank you forever.

Pulse Points
The universe is a giant body. When the pulse is found, creativity flourishes as instinctively humanity understands we're onto something. Pulse points are all over this body...I search for these places, staying with one then leaving and going in a new direction. Always we look for a main artery, and we know, collectively, when we've found one. It is a life force - a necessity and we find the answer only when we need to know...not before and not after.
Some find the pulse accidently, like a new group of musicians. They're followed by millions of fans suddenly...quickly. We all look for the pulse...it is our life's mission.
The pulsation is as big as infinity, as small as a human body. It's as big as ocean waves or as small as fruit fly wings buzzing. It's as big as thunder in the sky, or smaller like drums in the jungle.
It's all one thing...all expands, amplifies, contracts....throbs, pulses.
This is a lesson in supernature. It has to be.
Oh my lover, my sweet sorcerer, boy of my dreams...I found you forever.
Please check my book at Swoonreads and rate it, thanks. I found a pulse.

Back from the tropics
Hello, I'm back! Catching up on pics and trying to promo my Sweet Sorcerer. I must keep this blog current! Yes...I was catching some big waves in the Caribbean. We were like drunken sailors on the boat as it rocked in 10 ft. swells, too...and I didn't touch a drop of liquor...would have been seasick if I did lol!
My book Sweet Sorcerer will be up on the Swoon Reads website for awhile yet. Although the website and concept of crowdsourcing is new, things are going slow. I don't mind, but it would be cool if a few people would take a look at my manuscript just to get the ball rolling. I shall not forget you if you do!
I think I picked up some voodoo, seriously, I feel the vibes.

Devils and Angels
Hello...or good evening. Have you ever noticed the greeting used by most people has the word "Hell" in it? Guess what? I believe we create our own heaven or hell on this sweet Earth. I have a feeling we live it all the time, it's not a place to go to be rewarded. Rather, Earth is a place of continuous rewards if we try.
Some people have looked at my new book Star Water - Book One - Sweet Sorcerer and somehow the feeling I get is they feel fear. Someone asked me if the book was about the devil. No, not my intention...but if you want to see the devil, that's totally up to you. Just go around destroying Earth with no compassion and little foresight and you'll eventually see the devil all around you. Everyone will. Or you can be loving and kind and you'll be creating a heaven on Earth, and you will notice angels all around you. These thoughts are my truest opinions and observations. And this is my story of teenage love so if you don't like it, that's okay with me! Not my loss.
Even the cover, with cat's eyes is a promise of occult info. This book is intended to make people happy, feel positive about creating change through love and understanding of nature and beyond, just relating what I've learned and wanting to communicate that's all. Last thing I want to do is make people cry over at Swoonreads where Sweet Sorcerer is available for free! There are categories to check after reading the book such as "Thrills" and "Tears". No tears in SS, not intentionally - I don't have the right to upset people and make them cry, just my opinion. Yes, my views are way out there, different.
If you read Sweet Sorcerer, please comment and rate it, thanks!

More "Glamour"
This book trailer is from a chapter called "Glamour" in my book Star Water. Leena is on her way to Vegas with her father, Alex, who is going to deal cards at a high stakes poker tournament, and as Owen is in Vancouver doing a series of gigs with his band "Stonehinge", a sweet & brief encounter is planned at the airport there.
I
was almost running with my shoulder purse and carryon bag flopping at my side. Grinning apologetically I didn’t slow down
much as we passed the First Nations display area of canoes and carved wooden
totems. Into a busy arrival area I
walked quickly, my eyes searching.
I
saw him. He was gaunt. He’d lost a few pounds – as if he had missed
me too much during our separation. But
he looked so amazing my knees began to buckle.
I felt faint. He was already focused
on me, his green eyes sparking silver.
We ran the few final steps between us, colliding in a hot embrace.
At
first we didn’t say anything – just breathed each other in, melted
together. His scent was my oxygen. He held me up.
“Leena,” the warlock murmured as he
kissed my ear, and then his lips touched my cheek. He drew a sharp breath. “I missed you.”
I
glanced at Alex who was trying to nonchalantly look through the crowd. Some people were staring at us. Owen was truly gorgeously noticeable.
There
were no words from me for a long moment.
My body language told him everything.
“Owen,”
was all I said. He held my hand and
released his embrace, turning to face Alex.
“Good morning, Mr. Valraevan,” he said
politely. His voice was sweet music.
“Hi,
Owen – and please call me Alex,” said my father as he smiled like Elvis. Definitely he was in Vegas mode already.
“I
know you don’t have much time between flights.
It’s great to see you.” Owen spoke to both of us.
“Glad
to see you, too!” Dad answered. “How’s Vancouver
treating you?”
“Alright,”
the warlock shrugged. “Getting some
recording done. I miss everyone at home
though. Looking forward to the poker
tournament? I checked it on the net.”
“Yeah,
it’ll be great! I’d feel better if we
start walking to security right now. We
can get there and then see how much time we have. How about it?” Alex asked.
“Sure,”
he agreed. “Let’s go then.”
“We
don’t have to collect our baggage and transfer it,” I explained. “In the old days we had to pick up baggage –
one time it was lost. Right, Dad?”
I was suddenly talkative, relieved to be
striding down the long blue/green corridor with my two main men. Chrome bars crisscrossed and glistened above
us in a futuristic design. Every few
meters overhead signs indicated “USA Departures” on our way to the
International terminal – a long walk.
“A
couple of years ago our luggage was put on the wrong connecting flight but we
got it back the same night, delivered to our home in Vegas. Hence, the carryon bags at all times now –
as insurance, in addition to our suitcases.” Alex strode purposefully as he
spoke over his shoulder.
Owen
and I lingered a stride behind, holding hands.
He had my carryon although it wasn’t heavy. Always he was a true gentleman.
I
spoke just above a whisper. “How are
you? Everything okay? I’m so happy to see you! Thanks for coming out here.”
“I
wouldn’t miss this chance to see you for the world, love. I missed you more than I can say. I’d love to show you how much.” He squeezed
my hand and his lips curled upward in a sexy smile. Oh my lord, what a hot guy I thought, my
heart thumping into my throat.
He
let go of my hand and pulled me close as we briskly strode along, his arm
encircling my waist. I felt his lips
linger on the side of my forehead as he kissed a spot near my temple. Turning my head toward him as we kept walking
our lips met in a sweet stolen kiss. As
always – one was not enough. We kept up
the pace, kissing as we went along. Down
these corridors only a half dozen people walked far behind us and everyone was
going in the same direction.
We strolled together below chrome and stainless steel
branches, stepping on blue green floors, passed a row of large windows.
Outside on the tarmac various planes with colorful emblems contrasted
with a dark rainy day. Finally we had streams of questions.
“Is
everything okay?” I asked again. “How
are the guys? Are your recording
sessions working out?”
“Everything’s
cool,” he assured as his eyes penetrated mine.
I believed him without a doubt.
“The guys are fine. We recorded a
few songs for the new album. The studio
has different acoustics. I want you to
have a listen soon. How about my place
next week?” he added enthusiastically.
“I’d
love to. I’d love to see your sister,
Junie again soon, too. And your
father. A few times I thought of calling
and paying a visit but…I didn’t know if it was the right thing to do. Has Junie recovered?”
“Yeah,
she has but,” he lowered his voice and spoke, his lips close to my ear, “she
learned so much as a cat. Sense of
smell, sight, hearing. Junie tends to
see the glass half full in any situation.
She has good stories to share.
And you – how is school?
Everything alright with your friends?”
“At
lunch, three days ago my ring acted up again.” I motioned to the deceptively
demure pastel pinky ring.

Understanding Rimbaud
This isn't part of Star Water...but it's a poem I wrote recently. Hope you like it!
I lament for this Earth,
A dirge is sung in low tones
Far beneath the crust
And I slink through each day
Sorry for my little voice
Unheard among factory machinery
Drowned out by traffic, motors,
Noise pollution,
Air breathed in
Full of carbon monoxide,
Give me your huddled masses
Of animals on the way to slaughter
And tell me all about the meat
How to cook it, what fermented
Rotten grapes to drink with it
So everyone believes alcohol
Is not the world's big problem
But dulled senses,
Like brain damage
Is the solution.
Tell me that I can live
Healthy and strong
Good and pure
While we ruin Earth every minute
In this age of rapid communication.
Tell me Rimbaud was crazy
When he felt too much,
Saw the truth
And couldn't bear to stay.
I'll stay
Because I love you, Earth
And my angels hover
Wondering what I'll do.
They've had their hands full with me.
I lament for this Earth,
A dirge is sung in low tones
Far beneath the crust
And I slink through each day
Sorry for my little voice
Unheard among factory machinery
Drowned out by traffic, motors,

Remember the Desiderata
Here's something from a different era...inspirational but not part of Star Water...remember the desiderata. In the 70's it was famous - I think we should be reminded again...
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;

Dancing
Hello all - a trailer from my book 'Star Water'....part of a chapter called "Dancing"
“Okay let’s rock!”
Trish got up and I reluctantly walked behind her. This was so new to me. The whole scene was scarier than anything on Las
Vegas Blvd. Everything
seemed too casual and almost disorganized.
No doormen in uniforms, no signs with directions, no glittering
neon. It was bare bones, wild west. Soft dusty earth beneath my feet, old steps
up to a big barn door.
Teenagers were
already rocking and swaying to the sounds while they danced their way
inside…and the increasingly louder tribal sounds of StoneHinge pounded. Their music pumped through me, pulsing like a
massive heartbeat.
Looking at the
dark interior and wanting to see the stage, I gave my ten dollars to a lady
collecting tickets at a makeshift desk.
She looked like a biker chick. On
the other side of her was a burly man wearing a short sleeved t-shirt. Maybe he was her husband. He had a tattoo on his forearm and he wasn’t
letting anyone pass until biker lady’s female assistant stamped hands with a
florescent pink logo.
Finally we were
inside and there he was. With stage
lights all around him, Owen stood, legs slightly apart, shaking his head in
time to the music. His halo of abundant
long hair was golden. He wore very faded
awesome blue jeans and he was playing a black gleaming guitar worn low. His hips were slung forward. So hot looking! I was magnetically drawn to him.
Suddenly brave, I
yelled in Trish’s ear “Let’s move up.”
She grinned. I took off my jacket and tied the sleeves
around my waist. We meandered and wove our way through a small crowd until we
were standing in the second row off to the side. Trish wanted to keep moving to get a better
look at Jimmy James on drums.
We were close to
Owen’s side of the stage. Waving her on,
I stayed in my spot. He hadn’t seen me
yet or worse, maybe he didn’t care. I
had to know if he would acknowledge my presence. A panic washed over, oppressive and
thick. It would be awful if after our
closeness on the beach he simply ignored me now. What if he gave pendants to all the girls. My heart said to trust him.
Music was
thrilling. Adrenaline and so many
emotions were all one. I closed my eyes
and felt my body start to sway to the beat.
I was moving my arms, dancing on the spot absorbed in this total moment.
I slowly opened my
eyes as I danced and with a jolt realized Owen was staring at me from his spot
onstage. He pointed with his forefinger
and winked so sexily. I moved up to the front row, melting in my half dance
half stroll.
He was amazing. He was addicting. At that moment I knew…Owen Mycroft wasn’t
just a male. This music was of another
world, his fluid movements were unlike any human on Earth and sparks flew from
his eyes. Couldn’t anyone else in the room
see those fireworks? Was I the only
one? I didn’t care what he was. I was in his world now.
